📅 Timeline & Experience

  • 2000–2007: T-Mobile Czech Republic – IT management positions (Systems Administration Lead with a team of 26 specialists, Service Management Lead, ITIL implementation, and IT operations outsourcing).
  • 2004–2023: 19 years of proprietary quantitative and systematic trading on financial markets (S&P 500 index, FX markets).
  • 2013–2025: Independent IT & Trading consultant (cloud infrastructure, business process optimization, SEO).
  • Dec 2018: Smart Whales s.r.o. founded as a platform for custom development and technology consulting. Designed MySQL database architecture for client application backends – schemas, relations, stored procedures, and query optimization.
  • 2019–Present: Strategic management of the Dr. Dagmar Lieblóvá Foundation (cultural heritage preservation, synagogue renewal in Čáslav).
  • Feb 2024: WhaleVibe trading framework deployed to production, public MQL5 track-record launched. MySQL 8.0 backend processes hundreds of signal records daily – portfolio metrics, audit log, and user management.
  • 2025–Present: Expansion into comprehensive AI consulting (Gemini, NotebookLM workspaces, secure offline LLM infrastructure).
  • 2026: Custom Trigger Engine v1.1 (OCI server, systemd + Python) implemented to replace unreliable GHA cron triggers – pipeline scheduling accuracy improved from ±45 minutes to < 1 second.

Python 3.12 (pandas, numpy for data analysis), PHP 8.x (web applications and REST API), MySQL 8.0 (see below), JavaScript / Node.js. All integrated into CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions.

Database & Data Analysis

MySQL 8.0 – schema design and normalization, stored procedures, views, JSON columns. Query and index optimization for thousands of trading records per day (WhaleVibe backend). ETL pipeline: Python → MySQL → PHP API for reporting and the client portal.

Infrastructure & CI/CD

GitHub Actions for workflow automation, cloud environments (AWS, OCI, Web hosting). Custom OCI Trigger Engine (systemd.timer + Python) – replaces unreliable GHA public runners; scheduling accuracy from ±45 minutes to < 1 second. SUMMER/WINTER timer sets handle US market DST transitions.

MetaTrader 5 (development of Expert Advisors in MQL5), API integrations (Yahoo Finance, Dukascopy, Twelve Data).

Security & Privacy

WebAuthn (biometric authentication), GDPR compliance, anonymization pipelines, and local offline LLM execution.
